· A school, tutor, or educator that sets up a managed workspace and invites users to join.

We use personal data for these purposes:

Provide the Service and AI features (create accounts, deliver outputs, show history, process subscriptions): contract performance.

Schools/guardians only where a school workspace or parent-managed account is enabled, and only for the parts of the Service they administer.

Business transfers if we sell or reorganise the business (with safeguards).

International transfers

Your personal data may be stored or accessed outside the UK (including the US) when we use global service providers.

Children and learners

AI Marker is intended for study use. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must set up or approve your account. Schools and guardians that provide learner data must have the right to do so.

If we learn that personal data has been collected in a way that is not permitted, we may delete the data and disable the account.

How long we keep your personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this notice. Retention depends on the type of data, why it was collected, legal duties, and whether there is an active dispute or investigation.

· Account and billing records are kept while an account is active and then for a period to meet tax, accounting, and legal duties.

· Study content and AI session history are kept while an account is active so you can review past work. After account closure, we delete or de identify this material within our standard retention schedule unless we need it for disputes, safety, or legal reasons.

· Security logs are kept for a shorter period, then removed or de identified unless needed for incident response.

· Marketing preferences are kept to respect your choices. If you opt out, we keep a suppression record so we do not send marketing again.

· We may delete or anonymise data sooner, and we may keep it longer where required by law or needed to handle claims.
